Someone to Love plot
Young William Shelby is a sheet music salesman who is barely making ends meet. Rich Joan Kendricks is his girlfriend. Thanks to a series of bizarre coincidences and misunderstandings, Joan believes that the virtuous William is actually both a fortune hunter and a womanizer. By demonstrating his skills in the face of an impending bankruptcy of a girls' school, William seems to be able to rehabilitate himself.
