Indigestible junk. Cyrus on autopilot, although that's forgivable given the hopeless, chewed-up fluff plot with ditto humor (try selling it). Brain dead level. Only the Candy Mountain joke at the end is "funny".

A comedy film in the style of Miss Congeniality and DEBS And Cyrus will have to deal with prejudice among film lovers, but does not act so badly. The story is fun and the characters work well. It is and remains comedy and a lot of worse comedy films have been made. With the 'sisters' in high school, Megan Park as Cotton is especially nice. These kind of movies work with clichés, but when it works (in this case the dumb blonde) I like it. And Jeremy Piven is also suitable for the job. Miley Cyrus is otherwise also worth seeing and is somewhat reminiscent of the period when Lindsay Lohan was not yet cut up. Comparing Cyrus to Britney Spears, for example, doesn't work for me at all. Although I do realize that I will find few film lovers who will like this 'So Undercover'.

Nice teen movie. Young woman goes undercover at a university to protect a man's daughter who is going to testify against a criminal organization. Miley Cyrus does well and the other actors are nice too, but in the end it is all poorly developed. So Undercover lacks tension, humor and originality, and with the fun premise a little more could have been done with it.
