Sky High plot
"The saddest sack in the sky!"
When told that he must remain as a tail gunner for three more years, Herbert Pumice thinks a promotion, which he has little chance of, will take him off the job he hates. He asks his girlfriend Sally, the owner of the basic cafe, for help. She goes to the base commander, Colonel Baker, who she knows is in love with her, to help Herbert. Colonel Baker is scheduling a promotion hearing for Herbert that Friday. He fails miserably and then discovers that Colonel Baker is going on a date with Sally. When a network of spies plans to sabotage a new automated plane, Herbert is tasked with infiltrating the gang. However, complications arise.
