As Norman and Rita prepare to buy a new home, Shane notices that Oliver is more preoccupied with Norman and Rita's mailbox than with their upcoming wedding. At the office, Norman and Rita conduct interviews for someone who can temporarily help during Shane and Oliver's honeymoon. One of the interviewees, Phoenix, accidentally tears up a taped letter. It turns out to be a drawing and a message addressed to a boy named Owen with leukemia. They decide to help him.
