Sidong plot
"It's time to grow up."
Taek-il is eighteen years old and rebellious. He lives with his mother, who played volleyball at a younger age. Against his mother's wishes, Taek-il quits school. He spends his days with his friend Sang-pil, they hang out together. One day, Taek-il leaves his home and goes to Gunsan, where he works as a delivery boy at a Chinese restaurant. There he meets the mysterious cook Geo-seok. Meanwhile, Sang-pil starts working at a lending office. The two boys slowly mature in a turbulent time as they experience a world that isn't going their way.
