Showgirl's Luck plot

Peggy Morton is the star of a show that travels through rural Queensland, Australia. She is offered the leading role in the first Australian sound film. However, her rival, Mona Blake, sends a telegram stating that the offer has been withdrawn. She then travels to the filming location herself to take Peggy's place.
