Sexe, Gombo et Beurre Salé plot

A completely banal controversy over a domestic specialty, the Gombo sauce, is shaking the stability of the African Diakhité family from Bordeaux. On her 45th birthday, Hortence leaves her 20-year-older husband Malik, leaving the patriarchal head of the family with two children. Mentally adjusted to his retirement, Malik's new obligations begin to overwhelm him. He forgets to wake his children for school, neglects the house and finds that a real man does not cook and thus they no longer eat healthy meals. Nothing is what it used to be.
