Big Ed Bookman is the chief of a Miami football team that has made it to the White Cup finals. Billy Clyde Puckett and Shake Tiller are two players on this team and both have a crush on Big Ed's daughter Barbara Jane. Barbara Jane ultimately chooses Shake, who is eager to introduce his betrothed to his guru, Friedrich Bismarck. This visit has surprising consequences.
