Average comedy that doesn't really excel at anything but isn't really bad either. The story is just getting started and there are also some comedic moments in it. The cast did quite well, especially Orlando Jones, Sally Field and Richard Jenkins. I always like to see Heather Graham and mainly because of her I watched this movie.

Mediocre comedy, which doesn't have much to offer.

Graham and Klein are decent, but don't really have much chemistry with each other. Klein isn't a great actor anyway, nor is it really funny. The same goes for Graham, although she has the better moments in this film. Still, the movie has some pretty funny scenes. That's mostly thanks to Richard Jenkins, who plays Graham's disabled father. He has a hard time making himself understood and is sometimes belittled by his wife, which is quite nice, although I did give him his revenge at the end of the film.

So not a memorable movie. A lot of blandness, but fortunately also some nice moments. However, it does not save the film.

2.0*

This comedy, which is more of a romantic comedy in content, is fortunately not exactly romantic or tacky. Lots of silly humour, which reminded me of a Farrelly movie. I was therefore surprised that the Farrelly brothers are not the directors of this. Chris Klein plays mediocre and Heather Graham doesn't play very well either. Orlando Jones and Richard Jenkins are better in supporting roles.
