Sauvage Innocence plot
Young filmmaker François Mauge has lost his wife and most important actress to a drug overdose. In order to process the grief, he writes a screenplay about it that he wants to film under the title Sauvage innocence. But he has no money and no lead actress yet. When he sees his lead actress in a new girlfriend, Lucie, the need to make the film becomes more and more compelling. The shady businessman Chas says he can give him the money, but asks for a very cynical return: Mauge has to smuggle a large amount of drugs across the border. The film can be made, but the so-called anti-drug film was born under a bad star because of the drug money. If the crew moves to Amsterdam, history is doomed to repeat itself. Lucie doesn't just play the addicted girlfriend, thanks to Chas's gifts, she is.
