Saure Wochen - Frohe Feste plot

A theater competition arises on the occasion of the four-year anniversary of the Henningsberg nuclear power plant. The old generation wants to perform the kitschy musical 'Gärtnerliesl' (Gardener Liesl). The young people are against it and plan to run their own program, a cabaret version of the events in the factory. But first they have to work together because of the damage to a turbine. On the holiday, the 'Gärtnerliesl' with drums and trumpets falls through the basket, while the youth program enjoys great acclaim, with the rivals uniting in unison.
