A wealthy family is in full preparation for a wedding party. Just then a police inspector rings the doorbell. He reports that a girl has committed suicide and that the family is indirectly responsible for the suicide. Everyone denies involvement, but it soon becomes apparent that not everyone is telling the full truth.
