"An Idyll of the Tenements"
Sally, a girl from the tenements, is raised by three single foster fathers: a pawnbroker, an organ grinder, and a peddler. She enjoys preparing their meals and keeping the house in order, while the elderly men revel in the attention she gives them. This happy home is disrupted when Sally's wealthy aunt appears and whisks her away to her luxurious penthouse, offering her the benefits of money and social standing. But Sally's heart truly belongs across the river to her sweetheart, plumber Jimmie Adams.
