Rikky and Pete plot

Rikky is a talented geologist and tries to build a career as a singer in her spare time. Her brother Pete is eccentric and has a weakness for startling inventions. The two are crazy about each other, and when Pete once again incurs the wrath of his father and the police, they flee to a remote mining village, where their lives are drastically changed.
