I thought it was great with this movie.

The whole concept is of course already clear from part one. In part 1 I expected a flop. That part was not that bad for me and I thought it was a nice original comedy. Because my expectations with part 1 were met so much, I was also excited for part 2. I decided to just leave the negative reactions and low scores for what it is and just set up this film.

The story is a bit stretched. In the beginning I often wondered if this was not an unnecessary part. I quickly come to the conclusion that the nerds are just too funny and it would have been a shame if they had left us with only 1 part as film feed.

The jokes are also a bit less than in the first part. In part 1, the surprise effect still played a major role. You already knew a lot about the jokes here. The smile of the most famous nerd is a good example of this. In part 1 he was hilarious, only here he was only repeated. There were also successful jokes in it, such as the hotel scene. I only missed the constant corny atmosphere that was present in part 1.

There is plenty of experimentation with a number of new things in this film. Where the setting in the first part was a bit one-sided, there was a lot of variation in this part. Think, for example, of the Jungle and Island scene.

All in all slightly less than part 1 but nevertheless a very nice comedy that the lover of the first part will certainly appreciate. In any case, this made me curious about the 3rd and 4th part.

3*

Found the "Revenge of the Nerds" movies quite entertaining as a teenager. Of course it is nowhere high and the humor is also often bland, just like the story by the way. But all in all, these films looked quite nice and that was mainly thanks to the cast, how bad they actually were (with the exception of Robert Carradine who always did a good job). Most of the main characters from the first part also participated in this film, so much remained the same. This film is less than the first part because the fun was a bit off and the story is also less.

But I like them nerds. The annoyance didn't get too high. Would also be ridiculous to want to analyze this movie in depth. Not as good as the predecessor, because there are still a lot of repetitions that have been taken from the first film (the laughter of Skolnik, Ogre, Booger). There are also a few nicer jokes in it, unfortunately less than in the first film. Carradine stands out as the brave nerd leader. A bit bland but just like the first entertaining and sympathetic. I see these films as a big push for box thinking.
