Young playboy Ted Brown marries Dale Carter because they believe that Ted's wealthy father will pay the girl $20,000 to divorce his son. Ted and Dale then plan to split the money together. Ted's father, however, has a different idea and strikes a deal with Dale: the two will stay married and she will try to set him straight.
