Rani Radovi plot
In the wake of the Russian invasion in 1968, the Czech population is preparing for all-out war. People want changes... but also bread on the table. One sees the fast cars and the beautiful women, while politics starts to look more and more like science fiction. On television images of a beautiful woman and different ways to prepare cabbage. The interest of the individual is weighed against that of the whole nation. The film shows in a fragmentary way how half-hearted radicalism can be, but also takes a stand against Stalinism.
