Quincas Berro d'Água plot
At the age of 50, the good family man and exemplary civil servant Joaquim Soares da Cunha decides to leave all his old rules and principles behind. Without any explanation, he leaves his family and moves to shabby Tabuão where he meets Quincas Berro d'Agua, ambassador of dancehalls and patron of the red light district. One day Quincas is found dead in his room. In an effort to erase his last crazy years from their memories, his family tries to provide him with a decent burial. His old friends Martim, Pastinha, Curió and Pé de Vento then show up and they cannot accept the death of their friend and decide to spend one last pleasant evening with him...
