"Comedy is often misunderstood."

Henry Phillips is a hapless troubadour who finds his way into the heart of America. He lives in his car and sings satirical songs for anyone who wants to hear it. When a booking goes wrong at a Christian fundraiser, he has bottomed out and decides to go to LA. Here his luck changes overnight when he is mistaken for someone else. He finds himself in a world of sold-out performances, a record deal and even the promise of love. But he who lives from show business dies from it...
