Two good friends, Anestis and Panagis, meet again after many years on a trip to the countryside. Their joy is great, because they both thought the other was dead. They reminisce about the joint struggle for survival during the German occupation of Athens. They also remember the events that caused them to lose each other during German actions against Greek resistance fighters.
