Prihody pana Prihody plot

Mr. Příhoda is a Prague antiques dealer, who bought an old cannon for a wealthy customer before the war. But since the Germans have occupied the country, the customer refuses to take possession of the order, putting Příhoda's life in danger. After several vain attempts to get rid of the cannon, the terrified antique dealer is walled up in the cellar of clerk Pilát, where he manages to survive the war thanks to a supply of wine.
