When Sam (Daniel Auteuil) and Paul (Gérard Jugnot) see on the news and in a movie how easy it is to commit a bank robbery, they (after their household effects are confiscated) plan a robbery of a small bank. With stolen ski masks and toy guns, they enter a bank and take hostages.
