La Balance plot
Paris, 1980s. The story is set in Parisian police circles. Palouzi, Chief of the Territorial Brigade, has just lost his best informant who was murdered near a bar in Belleville. He looks for a deputy who can inform him about the activities of crime boss Roger Massina and chooses André Laffont, nicknamed Dédé. He lives with prostitute Nicole and is a former lieutenant of Messina.
