Polizei plot
The naive street sweeper Ali Ekber is a Berlin-born Turk, who cleans a theater as a sideline. He gets the offer to clean a Turkish theater. Later he is told by the theater manager that he can play in a performance as a police officer. Ali Ekber then takes to the streets with the uniform. Suddenly he is no longer a Turk to be fooled, but a man who commands everyone's respect. He comes to the conclusion that clothes still make the man.
