Poil de Carotte plot

Jules is a red-haired boy, the youngest of the Lepic family. He is in danger of perishing from a loveless upbringing. The lad is not just naughty, but intelligently rejects the bourgeois value system, which turns out to be stronger than him. His parents are both frustrated in their inability to communicate, but behind their bitter facade, they would like otherwise.
