Po Strnisti Bos plot
Eight-year-old Eda is a very protected child of parents who have already lost a baby. He is the replacement and even has the same name. When his father refuses to cooperate with the Nazis after their invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1939, they must leave Prague and make it through the war in the countryside. The war is a mysterious adventure for Eda, for whom life in the countryside seems very beautiful.
