Pigalle-Saint-Germain-des-Prés plot

The cabaret 'Le Tambourin', in Montmartre, has seen a decline in the number of visitors, although there are performances by the beautiful Blue-Bell Girls and the large orchestra of Jacques Hélian. The habitués lament the problem: the Baroness Simone, a wealthy client, Gustave the bartender, Albert and Robert, the hotel bosses, and Pâquerette, the pretty flower seller who creates ambiance in lost moments. The employers try to revive the business through shady business practices financed by a mysterious lady in a tuxedo.
