"Manga artist Yuichi Okano begins writing nurse notes while taking care of his mother, who is afflicted with Alzheimer's disease."
Okano Yuuichi lives with his mother with dementia just outside Nagasaki. Shreds of memories increasingly crowd out the reality around her. When Yuuichi can no longer take care of his mother, he decides to place her in a care home.
