Parola di Ladro plot

Desiderio is a gentleman thief specialized in stealing and counterfeiting jewelry. He has the reputation of being an expert in gemstones and manages to land a job as a director in the famous jewelry store, which belongs to Gabriele Bertinori. His goal is to steal a piece of jewel containing a very valuable diamond and replace the real stone with a perfect imitation. He uses a young cabaret singer to divert the attention of Bertinori, who has a soft spot for beautiful women. But the girl falls in love with Bertinori and eventually tells him about Desiderio's dishonest intentions.
