Paris Vu Par... Vingt Ans Après plot
An anthology of six stories. 1) I'm Hungry, I'm Cold: Two adolescents flee the countryside to Paris, the city they've always dreamed of. But when they arrive on site, it becomes less fun for them: if one is hungry, the other is cold, and vice versa. They try to make money by singing in restaurants. One evening, a customer invites them to his home. However, this is not without consequences for one of the girls. 2) Place Clichy: Fabien, an adolescent, shares his life with a woman older than him. The latter writes a letter with a poem that she gives to her lover, who reads it for a radio broadcast. As a result, Fabien begins to question her frequent absences. 3) Rue Fontaine: René, in his thirties, has no money and is depressed. On a cafe terrace, he tells his concerns to a friend, who invites him to his home for dinner. But he falls in love with his friend's wife. 4) Rue du Bac: A student is in love with a young man she met in the library and who reciprocates her feelings, despite the fact that he is actually gay. 5) Paris Plage: In a modern block of flats there is a swimming pool, where many different characters meet. 6) Canal Saint-Martin: Two people get to know each other in this place. They soon get into a relationship. Some time later they have a child. The young woman becomes ill. Her boyfriend sells their car and buys a revolver. After giving her medicine, he kills her in her sleep.
