Orava plot
Pasi, a lonely but good-natured designer of artificial animals, lives in a world where nature is merely a memory and human well-being is organized with perhaps too much care. One day, he accidentally finds the very last living squirrel in the world and meets Emilia, a civil servant who enforces welfare regulations. Pasi decides to defy society's rules to help the squirrel, but then something unexpected happens; the squirrel becomes depressed and Pasi falls in love.
