Omamamia plot
The 65-year-old Grandma is a widow. Her overprotective daughter Marie has just sold Grandma's house and is about to move her into the seemingly perfect 'Sunshine Home'. Grandma thinks this is terrible and decides to follow her dream and ask the blessing of the Bavarian Pope. She jumps on a flight to Rome and knocks on the door of Martina, her granddaughter who works as a nanny for a strict Catholic family. Grandma is soon in for many surprises: Martina lives with her boyfriend Silvio (a tattoo artist and rocker), the letter from her priest that should give her access to an audience with the Pope is useless, a German restaurant serves dishes that no one German and the blind man Lorenzo she helps turns out not to be really blind. Grandma gets really confused...
