Psychiatrist Alan Coles (David Niven) has some problems with his new patient Cobbler (Tony Randall). Cobbler is the former boyfriend of Alan's fiancée Myra Hagerman (Barbara Rush). But those aren't his only concerns. Among his patients is an arguing married couple, Arthur and Mildred Turner (Dan Dailey and Ginger Rogers), who struggle to make it easy for him.
