In the first part of this film, Altomare (Lino Banfi) is obsessed with his neighbor. Altomare is convinced that his neighbor has supernatural powers and therefore wants to make him harmless. In the second part, Gaspare, an incapable wizard, hopes to meet a 318-year-old witch who can give him magical powers. In anticipation of this event, he challenges the most famous Italian magician to a duel.
