When a group of ex-servicemen gather for dinner, they devote their conversations entirely to the war. Their tongues are loosened by the good wine and the fine meal and as a result their stories become more and more exaggerated, as they fantasize how brave they would have been in the conflict. In reality, however, their contribution to the war effort was extremely modest and their blunders and misunderstandings piled up...
