No Room for the Groom plot

Alvah, a young soldier, and his girlfriend Lee secretly get married in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the groom gets chickenpox the same day and his wife is not allowed to come near because of the risk of infection. Unfortunately, the wedding night cannot go on. Lee also has a mother who has already more or less linked her to the rich Herman. She does not dare to tell her mother that she is married. To make matters worse, Alvah also has to report back to his military base. When can the couple finally spend a night together?
