Nitwits plot

Nitwits shows the life of a third-rate actor Joel Palsma, who in the evenings appears on stage in easy comedies and during the day runs from one advertising and television show to another. He is married to a French woman who runs a fashion studio and has a lovely 11-year-old daughter. In his work he is usually seen with a woman fifteen years younger, who does not take it too seriously with the marital fidelity and in the beginning of the film also manages to seduce Joel into a slip. This sets in motion a series of crazy entanglements, with Joel constantly lugging suitcases between his own house, a hotel and the home of Danielle twenty years his junior, with whom he has fallen madly in love.
