Newton plot
India, the world's largest democracy, braces itself for new elections. With 9 million voting booths, more than 800 million voters and a cost of almost 5 billion. Newton Kumar, a humble office worker, is tasked with a deceptively simple task: holding elections in a remote village in the jungles of central India. The forests are teeming with communist guerrillas and indigenous tribes with no access to civilization. In the course of his busy day, it soon becomes apparent that conducting 'free and fair' elections in a minefield like this is no child's play. However, he is determined to fulfill his duty.
