New York Town plot

Victor Ballard is a poor New York photographer who shares a room with Polish painter Stefan Janowski. When Victor takes a picture of Alexandra Curtis, he realizes that she is desperately looking for a boyfriend to help her survive in Manhattan. Victor tries to set her up with a rich man on Park Avenue. When Alexandra accidentally meets his handsome son, Victor becomes jealous, to his own surprise.
