Fighter Kid Slug shares a shabby hotel room with "Big Time" Percy Morgan, a genius third-rate boxing manager. The turnips are done when Big Time, who tells all kinds of made-up stories about his wealth to his son in the army, comes home on leave. Big Time's attempts to borrow a mansion and give the impression of being successful lead to an accumulation of comical situations.
