Yang is a widower who has become accustomed to living alone. He lives a simple and poor life. His eldest daughter is married and lives in Kuala Lumpur, his second daughter studies in Singapore and his son works as a salesman. One day, Yang realizes that he cannot celebrate the Chinese New Year due to lack of money. However, he meets his old friend Lin, who is a millionaire. This one offers Yang to be a millionaire for a month.
