"She left the land of Marks & Spencer and went to the world of Marx and Lenin."
They left the land of Marks & Spencer and moved to the land of Marx and Lenin. In 1968 we follow the slightly disturbed Radcliffe family on their journey to the icy cold East Germany and back. Mr. Radcliffe fought for the 'good cause', but Mrs. Radcliffe fought for her family: a teenage sex goddess and a communist spy twelve years her senior. Will Mr. Radcliffe be able to throw away his party card and fall in love again with his good, good wife?
