Mr. Lemon of Orange plot

Oscar Lemon is a bumbling Swedish immigrant who loves practical jokes. He lives in Orange, New Jersey, with his adoring sister Hilda Blake, his not very hospitable brother-in-law and their daughter June. Oscar is fired from a toy store for having too much fun with funny tricks in front of his young customers. Meanwhile, the mobster and master of disguise Silent McGee plans with his henchman Smithy to steal a truckload of booze from his rival gang leader Pierre La Rue. During the robbery, Oscar passes the crime scene and is mistakenly mistaken for McGee.
