Money Means Nothing plot

Julie Ferris is of wealthy descent and one evening accidentally meets the 'poor slob' Kenny McKay and fall in love with each other. When Julie announces that she wants to marry him, her family protests, but she assures them that she does not want to claim their money. According to her, money means nothing and only true love will solve all problems. But when Kenny is wrongfully fired, their purse quickly runs out, especially with a baby on the way. Did Julie make the right choice?
