Mon Beau-Frère A Tué Ma Soeur plot
Parody of the detective genre. Esther, a veterinarian, is convinced that her sister was murdered by her brother-in-law. She enlists two members of the Academie Française, the institute that represents the interests of the French language, to investigate the matter. Both men are charmed by her and are therefore only too happy to do so. Since they are not real detectives, they roll from one incident to the next and new corpses keep appearing.
