Miss Mermaid plot

Fanny, a thirty-something from Fécamp, has just divorced and has nothing left of her marriage except a sky-blue sofa, debts she refuses to pay, and a determination never to "start a new life" with a man again. Despite her burning need for freedom, this cleaning woman is trapped in her parents' house. Until one day she encounters Anemone, a professional mermaid traveling through the region. She decides to take the plunge and immerse herself in the world of mermaiding.
