When her husband Jan announces one day that his advertising agency has gone bust, designer Karin Schreiber has two choices: either exchange their spacious villa for a more modest home, or start working again. Just then Karin receives an important assignment. However, the combination of her job, the household and the upbringing of her children soon becomes too much for Karin. Until she stumbles upon a website that sells androids that specialize in household chores.
