"A new species of comedy"
When a small group of insects from a South American rainforest are threatened by industrial development, they mutate into human form and move to an American suburb. Disguised as a typical American family, the Applegates, they decide to punish the world for its ecological crimes by destroying a nuclear power plant. Things get complicated when the Applegates realize it's hard enough to hide their insect identities without trying to be a perfect family.
