Maxie plot

"Her big movie comeback has a ghost of a chance."

The couple Nick and Jan move into their new apartment in San Francisco. A crazy upstairs neighbor tells us that a girl named Maxie lived there in the 1920s. Party girl Maxie died the morning before her big audition in Hollywood in a car accident. The problem is that Maxie never left the house, first in the flesh and now as a ghost.
