The Stooges are potters in ancient Rome, where Emperor Octopus Grabus collects all the beautiful red-haired girls to choose a wife. He chooses Diana, but she does not want to marry the Emperor and she seeks shelter with the Stooges. The trio wants to help her and their plan is for Curly to pose as Diana to fool the Emperor.
